Story of Our Yoghurt
It all started in 2013 when the founder of Farm Reap Ltd felt she could contribute to eliminating hunger and improving the food security status of Uganda by producing highly nutritive, affordable and easily accessible yoghurt. The Founder and owner having worked in the dairy sector for several years, appreciated the importance of dairy products especially yoghurt in reversing hunger; more than 30% of the Ugandan population faces some level of food insecurity while 29% of children under 5 years are stunted (USAID, 2018)
Working from a home garage deliveries were made to homes and kiosks. As of now a functional yoghurt processing unit has been built and our supply base covers most supermarkets, groceries and shops in Kampala, Wakiso, Entebbe and Mukono.
The company exists to provide highly nutritive, quality yoghurt that is affordable and easily accessible to children, youth and corporate health conscious adults.
